ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork features the fennec, a small desert fox known for its oversized ears and its extraordinary adaptability to extreme climates. I’ve always been fascinated by this animal—its agility, sharp instincts, and discreet presence. It’s a symbol of survival, sensitivity, and quiet strength.

For this composition, I chose an intense range of icy blues and desert-inspired orange accents to create a paradox: the cold tones evoke mystery, while the subject comes from one of the hottest environments on earth. This chromatic clash mirrors the essence of the fennec—fragile and fierce, delicate and wild.

Using my signature double-layer stencil technique, I brought out the texture of the fur and the precision of the gaze, giving this little creature a powerful, almost mythical aura. It's not just a representation of the animal, it's a tribute to adaptation, alertness, and resilience.

ABOUT THE ARTIST – ALEXANDRE PETRUS (AP)
I'm Alexandre Petrus (AP), a French street artist and stencil specialist. From childhood sketches of comic book heroes to monumental murals across France, my journey has been one of passion and evolution. My distinctive double-layer stencil technique, hand-cut with precision, merges instinctive creativity with structured design.

I’ve created murals in cities all over France and performed live painting shows for weddings, corporate events, and public festivals. Each artwork I produce is truly one of a kind—I don’t create prints or editions. I draw and hand-cut all my stencils, then reuse them on spontaneously painted backgrounds, ensuring that no two pieces are ever the same. This process challenges the concept of repetition by turning it into a celebration of originality—where each new canvas becomes a variation with its own identity and energy.

My work is a constant dialogue between spontaneity and control, urban energy and delicate craftsmanship. Through my art, I explore identity, memory, and the beauty of both people and nature.
