BULLA wall lightA series of mouth glass blown wall lights that originated from the love for the 'bubble', the starting point in glassblowing. A dynamic and fragile basic form in which there is all the potential of the desired object yet to be made.This simplistic and strong form appeals to the designers. For this design, the studio has managed to freeze the tension of the material in the process, by flattening the convex shape on one side, leaving the overall shape untouched. Because the glass is handblown freely and not in a mould, each piece is unique, yet part of the family. When you look longer you see the difference in thickness, colour intensity, size, but especially in character! Mouth blown glass is produced locally in Leerdam, the Netherlands.The light element with LED developed by the studio is flexible and thus follows the inner shape like an infinite loop.
