Extremely rare Saab 93B in original white (cream) colour, not repaint, working friction motor, no box.The "Saab 744" refers to the iconic 1:20 scale tinplate model of the Saab 93 B, produced by Bandai in Japan as part of their "Cars of the World" series. The "744" is the famous production or catalog number for this specific vintage toy, and it was not originally produced in a white color.* Brand/Model: Bandai Saab 93B ("Cars of the World" series)* Production Number: 744* Scale: 1:20* Material: Tinplate (sheet metal) with friction motor* Year of Production: Circa 1958/1959Cragston Bandai Saab 93b in white colour: The confirmation of the CragstonBandai-export connection explains exactly why this specific white/cream model exists despite its absence from standard Japanese catalogs. When Bandai partnered with the American importer Cragston in the late 1950s and early 1960s, they customized their "Cars of the World" series for US toy stores. Cragston commissioned non-standard colorways, which is why the highly coveted white/cream Saab 93B exists as a US-market export.Because Cragston distributed these in much smaller quantities than Bandai's mass-market European and domestic releases, the white/cream 93B remains one of the rarest variations of this mold.
