Steiff – Miniature Rooster “Pom-Pom” in wool (Woll-Hahn ref. 7240/08) – Germany, 1968–1973 – original tag & button.
Charming miniature Steiff Rooster, known as Pom-Pom or Woll-Hahn, produced in Germany in the late 1960s – early 1970s.
This model corresponds to reference 7240/08 (8 cm), a series of Steiff miniatures in curly wool. The original yellow tag is still attached to the leg, with the inscription Original Steiff – Made in Germany – Mass 73 – 100% Wool, as well as the Steiff metal button.
The rooster features a body covered with wool, a felt comb and beak, movable plastic eyes, and red-painted metal legs.
The head turns and moves, and the legs are also movable. As is often the case with this miniature model, the body is heavier than the fine legs, which makes the balance slightly unstable – a characteristic detail of the Steiff Pom-Pom series.
Good overall condition with light signs of age. Wool well preserved. Movements functional. Original tag and button present.

Steiff Woll-Hahn 7240/08 – Coq miniature “Pom-Pom Rooster” en laine – Allemagne, 1968–1973 – étiquette & bouton d’origine.
Rare Steiff Woll-Hahn réf. 7240/08, aussi appelé Pom-Pom Rooster, produit en Allemagne entre 1968 et 1973.
Ce charmant coq miniature mesure environ 8 cm de haut.
Il est recouvert de laine bouclée, avec crête et bec en feutrine, yeux mobiles et pattes en métal peint rouge. Sa tête pivote et bouge, et ses pattes sont mobiles.
Comme pour tous les modèles Pom-Pom, son corps en laine est légèrement plus lourd que ses fines pattes métalliques, ce qui le rend un peu instable – un détail typique de cette série.
L’étiquette jaune originale est fixée à la patte, avec la mention Original Steiff – Made in Germany – Mass 73 – 100% Wool.
Le bouton métallique Steiff est également présent.
Bon état général.
Laine bien conservée, petites traces du temps, articulations fonctionnelles. Étiquette et bouton originaux bien visibles.
