Fond blanc laiteux. Le décor polychrome représente un martin-pêcheur perché sur une branche, rendu avec précision, sur le lobe inférieur ; une branche de bambou occupe le lobe supérieur. Établit son four à Ishioka (préfecture d'Ibaraki) en 1984. Membre titulaire de la Japan Kogei Association et membre de l'Ibaraki Kogei Association. A présenté ses œuvres au Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum. Expositions personnelles notamment chez Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Takashimaya Osaka et Okayama, et au Palace Hotel Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts (1975), then completed a Master's degree in ceramics at the same university (1977). Trained under Fujimoto Yoshimichi. Established his kiln in Ishioka, Ibaraki Prefecture in 1984. Full member of the Japan Kogei Association and member of the Ibaraki Kogei Association. Works exhibited at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum. Solo exhibitions at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Takashimaya Osaka and Okayama, and Palace Hotel Tokyo. Recipient of the Ibaraki Kogei Association 80th Anniversary Award (2009) and the Ibaraki Shimbun 120th Anniversary Award (2011).
