Original woodblock print, hand-signed and numbered 183/200 by the artist - Paper - Nishida Tadashige (b 1942) - Cat and Sakura - Japan - 2013 First published in 2013. The measurements of the image itself (excluding the margins) are 37.5 x 24.3 cm. Nishida Tadashige (b. 1942) is a contemporary woodblock artist. The works of Nishida Tadashige are well made and have a high technical level - usually with luxury features like the background made with gold or silver pigments. Tadashige Nishida's woodblock prints come as limited editions of usually 100 or more copies, numbered, dated and signed by the artist. He is especially known for his prints of cats. The woodblock print is in excellent condition. It was previously hinged with archival tape which can still be seen on the back. The front is in impeccable condition. Will be shipped with great care in sturdy packaging to prevent folding.
