So this is 1968: The Publisher Multiples (well know within the Popart ) is looking to make an exclusive Calendar with the best Popart Artists of the moment. So which artists should we ask. Of course Warhol and Lichtenstein. And of course Robert Indiana; with his New Glory Banner; which stands for "USA" ; TheUS Flag (banner)

Publish an unsigned and unnumbered color silkscreen published by Multiples Inc.

Robert Indiana - one of the greatest Popart artist .he started to draw/paint very common objects (like his "numbers" and also the LOVE symbol) . This Glory Banner was one of his early works . This silkscreen has been made in 1968 after Robert Indiana got very famous with his LOVE (after the MOMA introduction in 1965 / 1966
