Geglazuurd aardewerk, gecraqueleerd, typisch voor dit aardewerk vanwege de gebruikte klei en de minder hoge temperatuur van het bakken.

Stunning art nouveau ceramic piece by Theodore Schoop for Bernard Bloch, Amphora pottery.
An Amphora maiden with a pot, near a well
where a sea mermaid man in high relief is swimming around.
Glazed ceramic in shades of cream, light green, light and dark brown
Overall crazing to the pottery, typical for this kind of earthenware at the time due to the clay used & inability to fire at higher temperatures.
Height ca. 15,75 inch / 40 cm
Base impressed signature: BB / 7886 and a small mark.
And on the back: "Schoop"
