Le livre contient une erreur d'impression rare à la page 503, ce qui rend cette édition recherchée par les collectionneurs. Dans l'un des dialogues, Cornelius Fudge s'adresse deux fois à Dumbledore en disant « Dumbledore, you know that... », ce qui a été corrigé dans les tirages suivants.
