Bruichladdich 25 Years Old Dun Bheagan 1991 is a limited-edition Bruichladdich single malt. The whisky was distilled in June 1991, and bottled in 2016 from two hogsheads. Ian Macleod is a distilling company and private bottler. With their Dun Bheagan range, they bottle straight from the cask. All the malts in the Dun Bheagan Collection are unchillfiltered and natural in colour. Bruichladdich 25 Years Old Dun Bheagan 1991 has a fresh and fruity nose with aromas of stewed fruits, toasted sugar, kiwi, creamy vanilla, lemon meringue, green apples and sea salt. On the palate you’ll find notes of vanilla, grapes, sweet malt, orange oil, buttery pastry and cinnamon. The finish has hints of aniseed, honeycomb, salt and white pepper. Fun fact: Bruichladdich uses no computers in the distilling process. The distillery avoided the modernization of the 20th century and still uses most of its original machinery today, manually controlled by the employees. Only 514 bottles of Bruichladdich 25 Years Old Dun Bheagan 1991 have been released.
