2020 Quinta do Quetzal Reserva Red 3 x 0.75L3 BottlesAlentejo RegionWINE MAkER: José Portela.AWARDS/RECOMMENDATIONS92 Points, Wine Enthusiast (2018 Vintage)WINE VARIETIES: Syrah (50%), Alicante Bouschet (35%) &Trincadeira (15%).VINIFICATIONThe grapes are gathered in small bins and immediately taken to the winery and cooled to a temperature of 15ºC. They are then separated, crushed and deposited in a fermenting vat of French Oak. Fermentation takes between 8 days at a temperature of 26ºC. Pumping over is carried out 4 or 5 times daily for 15 minute periods. After alcoholic fermentation the wine is placed in 225-litre barrels of French oak, where it will age for 20 months and another 8 month in bottle.TASTING NOTESEen granaatkleurige tint gevolgd door granaatappel, met noten van donker fruit en kruiden. Zeer elegante smaak van zacht hout. In de mond fijn gestructureerd, met frisse noten en lange zijdezachte tannines.SERVINGGaat uitstekend samen met wildgerechten en stevige kazen. Bewaar op een koele, droge plek, beschermd tegen licht en temperatuurschommelingen. Serveer bij een temperatuur tussen 16°C en 18°C.
