The 1955 vintage is highly prized by connoisseurs for its exceptional structure and remarkable longevity.Bottle Condition:• Fill Level (Ullage): Mid Shoulder which is quite low but the colour is still very good.• Label: Original main label showing age-related staining and slight peeling at the edges, but fully legible. Includes the original merchant strip label (James Richards, London).• Capsule: Original metal capsule, firmly seated with normal signs of age (corrosion).• Color: When backlit, the wine shows a deep ruby-red color with clarity appropriate for its age.Provenance & Storage:The bottle comes from the estate of a passionate wine collector from the greater Frankfurt area, where it was professionally stored for decades in a dark, cool wine cellar.
