RARE! WWII Schwab & Wuischpard S&W NY Brass US Military Compass! Good Condition for it's age! This is a rare antique Schwab & Wuischpard US Military Compass circa 1940s. Even 80 years after it was made it is still in it's original working condition! The cover of the compass snaps tight and springs open when the button is pressed. The holding mechanism immobilizes the needle when the lid is closed and the needle moves freely once the lid is opened. The front of the brass case is stamped "U.S." and "S&W,NY" is printed on the face. The outside of the case in in really good condition, the inside of the case does show some wear. The glass is in excellent condition, no scratches or cracks.
