This is one of the rare large-format Chimay vintage bottles, intended for collectors and enthusiasts of Trappist beers.

The bottle has been kept unopened for many years in a claar. As with any beer well past its best-before date, I cannot guarantee its drinking condition. It is therefore sold as a collector’s item, although many enthusiasts enjoy tasting well-aged Chimay Grande Réserve.
