United States – Postal History Lot (ca. 1910–1958) – ca. 40 covers & postal stationery, mostly addressed to France (Castres, Tarn, Paris) and Europe.
A very attractive and diverse lot bringing together about 40 original envelopes and postal stationery items, offering a wide overview of U.S. postal history in the first half of the 20th century.

Commemorative illustrated covers – Pueblo, Colorado (Minnequa Historical Society, 1930s):
Butterfield’s Overland Dispatch, established 1864
Jefferson Territory, disbanded 1861
Custer’s Last Stand, 1876
Beautiful cacheted envelopes, neatly postmarked “Pueblo, Colo.”
Transatlantic correspondence (1910s–1930s): multiple covers sent from the U.S. to France (Castres, Tarn / Paris) with Washington & Franklin issues, single and multiple frankings.
Special commemorative issues on cover:
1933 Century of Progress International Exhibition, Chicago (3¢ violet, block of 2, cover to France).
Other commemoratives used on transatlantic mail.
Air Mail usages and frankings to Europe (1930s).
Postal stationery / entires (1910s–1930s): Washington 2¢ red and violet embossed envelopes, used commercially, including registered and backstamped examples.
First Day Cover (FDC, 1958): Forest Conservation (Smokey Bear cachet, Tucson, AZ), colorful and thematic.
Shanghai correspondence: one interesting cover addressed from Theodore Siddall (Shanghai) to France, franked with U.S. stamp, scarce usage.
Additional correspondence with mixed frankings, auxiliary markings, and censor/handstamp notations.
Condition:
Generally fine to very fine, some usual signs of handling/aging as expected for genuine postal history items of this period. All items appear complete with stamps and clear postmarks.
