1998 GMW Empire One-Off USA NAMM Ron Thorn
Includes certificate of authenticity and original G&G case.
Handmade in California in the GMW Empire Custom Shop and finished by world famous Fender masterbuilder Ron Thorn. Excellent condition like new. Ron Thorn worked on the abalone and pearl inlays. GMW Empire: “Ron Thorn was doing the inlay work at the time since he lived 35 minutes away from our shop in Glendora.”

Handcrafted in California, vintage Gretsch orange finish, one-off worldwide, Ron Thorn hand picked 100's pieces abalone & pearl, carved book match 5A-quilt maple top, tree-of-life abalone fingerboard inlays, flame maple fingerboard, premium mahogany body, solid maple neck, bolt-on neck/body, gold hardware, Sperzel locking tuners, gold logo inlay, Dunlop 6120 frets, abalone bound neck and headstock, Seymour Duncan TB5 custom and Seymour Duncan SH2N pickups, 5-way mega switch PRS pickup wiring, custom options string-thru-body, Schaller roller bridge, abalone bound body, jet black back, sides, neck, pearl inlay volume and tone knobs.
This GMW Empire is one of the very first guitars ever made by GMW USA with serial number #15.
