Ooohhh yeah....50 watt Plexi.....ummm hmmm. THE tone machine of tone machines. Sounds great at low volumes, great pedal platform, sound of Norse gods at cranked volumes. Two channels, bright and normal. A few notable guitarist trough the years have used this amp (should be read with a feel of understatement) Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Slash, Jeff Beck, Duane Allman just to name a few of the lightweights.

Tolex has some rips and tears, mostly at the front and around the corners...not horrible...consider it a 7 out of 10 cosmetic condition

The 5881 are converted to (new) EL34 tubes and springs, and also a volume mod.

The serial number 946316827 would tell us that this amp was made in 1994 (94), production number 63168, and it was made during the 27th (27) week of that year.

Marshall 1987x reissue from 1994. This is actually the first ("MKI") version reissue, without the effects loop that was added in the later version ("MKII"), and as such is considered the more "pure" reissue of the original 1987x circuit.

Gebruikerssporen / Relic zijn er zeker te vinden, hier en daar een plekje in het tolex) maar in zeer goede staat.

Een ‘must have’ versterker, absolute klassieker,…maar mag weg ivm uitdunnen van mijn Marshall collectie.
