Levin Model 3 Royal Archtop Natural from 1951. In excellent condition, the instrument has been expertly restored and fitted with newer frets and some new hardware most notably the Schaller Grandtune tuners, tune-o-matic bridge and Dommenget floating archtop pickup with volume and tone control on the pickguard. The Royal model was first introduced in 1940 after which it underwent several feature changes to finally arrive at the model 3. Features of this - just shy of 17" - single cutaway hollowbody Archtop include a Romanian Spruce top, Walnut back and sides, mahogany/maple neck with bound ebony fretboard, pearl block inlays, 4-ply w/b/w/b bindings on the body and headstock and Trapeze style tailpiece. A magnificent playing instrument which has been properly setup. Both amplified and acoustic very convincing! Includes newer hardshell case.
