The MXR Distortion + was in the 70's one of the first good sounding distortion pedals (the name distortion is actually misleading, it is more like one of the first overdrives). The MXR 78 Custom Badass Distortion combines good old tradition with new, sensible features. For example, a tone control for tonal flexibility and a crunch switch provide the possibility to choose between two different distortion characteristics.
