Boss OC-2 Octaver (Black Label - MKI) 1982

Up for sale is this rare, first generation Boss OC-2 Octaver.

These first generation OC-2's (recognisable by the "R" at the end of octaveR) sound slightly different and more organic than the later versions and are therefore much sought after by musicians and studio owners alike that are looking for that vintage OC-2 sound as made famous by Joyo Mayer, Janek Gwizdala, Tim Lefebre and the likes.

As the pedal is over 40years old, there's some obvious damage to the original brown paint finish, but technically the pedal is in perfect working condition and it sounds amazing compared to the later versions.

I'm only selling because I have aquired quite a collection of vintage and modern OC-2's over my career as a bass player and it's finally time to move some of my gear to free up some funds for other priorities.I no longer have the original packaging, but the pedal will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a padded box to ensure safe shipping.
