The BE-5B, released in 1989, is a multi-effects pedal that integrates the necessary effects pedals for bass guitar.
The built-in effects include a limiter, enhancer/overdrive, 10-band equalizer, delay/chorus/flanger, and each section has its own footswitch, allowing intuitive operation as if you were handling a compact effects processor.
It also has a send/return jack, and the overdrive has a built-in speaker emulation circuit, making it a highly expandable unit.
