Omschrijving van dit kavel (in het Engels):

One-of-a-kind 1905 Mahauden 80-key dance organ, the only one known to us to exist. Built by Adolphus Gislenus Mahauden from Grammont, Belgium in 1905 starting with a Gavioli 87-key barrel organ serial no. #8055. Adolphus added other pipes, mostly by Mortier, and also by adding a glockenspiel, woodblock, and five chimes, he fashioned a dance organ using 12 registers. Adolphus Mahauden specialized in modifying other manufacturer's instruments, reconfiguring them to his own scale, adding bells, and register changes. Imported to the U.S. by G. W. MacKinnon, the organ was sold as a Ruth because at that time information about the organ builder Adolphus Mahauden was not known. The organ was first restored by Louie Svierveld in California in 1975, when Bill Nunn bought the organ it was playing but required further restoration. Dick Lokemoen began chassis restoration in 2007 and the facade was restored by Stacy Nunn. The organ facade is currently in a very good visual condition showing some natural smaller and larger cracks in the wood, and some spots of a little paint loss, it features beautiful wood carving, oil painting, and gold & silver leaf decoration. The organ is in a very good playing condition, comes with 56 books of music, has a great Gavioli and early Mortier sound and features the following instrument pipes - bass, trombone, violin, baxophone, trumpet, bourdon, clarinet, cello, saxophone, flute harmonique, and the following percussion instruments - chimes, glockenspiel, snare drum, bass drum, woodblock, cymbals.
