Unlike true analogue sequencers, the Model 800 quantizes and records incoming control voltages digitally, together with their timing information. Editing of pitch and measure is also possible.Sequences are recorded into one of the 16 "banks", each capable of holding 16 notes. These can then be played back individually or as one continuous sequence playing from the leftmost bank to the rightmost.
