It come with a fantastic microphone, better than a Shure 58 in my opinion. The switch on the mic allows to send some commands to the unit (like activate harmony).
The microphone alone was for sale for 185 EUR, in line with the very high quality.

Note that if you play a midi keyboard, the harmonizer will follow the actual chords you are playing (major, minor,...).
