PENDANT PALLASITE "SERICHO".... New find in 2016...!!!
NICE PENDANT Hammered stainless steel.
Dimensions pendant : 31 x 19 x 3mm
Dimensions Sericho : 21 x 10mm
Treated first by electrolysis and then by a thin layer of epoxy to prevent oxidation.
Nicest Olivines in a structured iron matrix makes this new discovered meteorite a must have for the lovers of meteorites , of pallasites and the lovers of unique beautiful rocks.
History:
In 2016, two brothers were searching for their camels and came across several large, dense stones south of Sericho, Kenya.
There are no rocks in this area, so they decided they were meteorites.
They spent several weeks collecting them with engine hoists and moving them to their homes in Habaswein.
Though recognized as meteorites in 2016, the masses had been known to camel-herders for decades.
