The Dell 800JH (also sold as 0800JH) is a PCI Express riser card assembly designed for use in Dell PowerEdge R730 and R730xd rackmount servers. This riser board extends PCIe lanes from the server motherboard to an internal expansion slot, allowing the installation of a PCIe expansion card in spaceconstrained server configurations. The riser converts the motherboard’s internal PCIe connection into a single PCIe x16 expansion slot mounted parallel to the motherboard. This enables the addition of highperformance adapter cards — such as network interface cards (NICs), storage controllers, host bus adapters (HBAs), or other PCIe devices — without occupying standard horizontal slots on the system board.
