Jacob, 1802 - 1e druk - 74p. - Hardcover: lederen band - 8,90x14,70cm - Goed exemplaar: gebruiks-en slijtagesporen, rugleder beschadigd, tekstblok met sporadisch vlekjes, handgeschreven eigenaarsgegevens op het voorschutblad (1804), toevoeging 'five' op het titelblad, papieren verbinding schutblad/titelblad (zie foto).

  •       "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus" is an American Christian hymn. It was written by George Duffield Jr. in 1858 and is based on the dying words of Dudley Atkins Tyng. The traditional tune "Webb" was composed by George James Webb, based on the melody of Franz Schubert's "Die Forelle" ("The Trout"). A lesser-used tune "Geibel" was composed by Adam Geibel.
  •       According to the Internet source given below, Adam Geibel (1855-1933)was a German-American composer, songwriter, orchestra conductor, organist, music educator and music publisher. Born in Frankfurt am Main, blind aged eight, he studied at the Philadelphia Institute for the Blind. He wrote a series of gospels, hymns, and cantatas and founded the Adam Geibel Music Company.   •       Charles McCallon Alexander (1867–1920) a native of East Tennessee, was a popular nineteenth-century gospel singer who worked the evangelistic circuit for many years.
