Fully forged stroker, (6000 km on engine)
Manley forged pistons, Subaru forged crank ej257, PEC forged rods and ARP bolts, ACL race bearings, Subaru steel head gaskets, closed deck, 14mm head bolts, 6 speed gearbox conversion, exedy clutch, oil catch can, nismo side feed 850 injectors, precision turbo and Sacco pipes, RCM unequal manifolds, updated fuel pump, pressure regulator, CDF lightweight pulleys, front mount inter cooler, Harvey trick up pipe (wrapped) 3” downpipe, 3” turbo back exhaust. Alcatel ECU. Anti lag, launch control. LSD diff, millers oils used throughout. 486 bhp on the dyno.
New speedline wheels and tyres, all new brakes fitted, new Hel braided hoses, new tein coil overs, all new bearings, new cv’s, super pro suspension bushes, too many parts to remember.
Underneath has been fully prepared, everything removed, cleaned, blasted and epoxy painted, the car has never been welded. Fuel tank fully restored with new fittings.
Interior has set of n. o. s. Subaru 22B seats (quite a fortunate and lucky find, had to trade my original seats plus quite a bit of money to get them) door panels re trimmed in matching Alcántara. seeing Colin mc crae throwing a Subaru round the rally circuits when I was younger set an impression in my head that made me want a Subaru.
Finally found a good solid JDM type R.
My idea was to make a fun track weapon, but as I started to replace some worn suspension bushes, “I will just clean that part and paint it” before I knew it I had completely restored all the drive train, I replaced every nut and bolt, every bush, bearing, seals, cv’s, brakes, practically everything. (Unfortunately that’s how I work) but at least it would be perfect. The problem is I went too far and got carried away with the buying and spending.
The car is not a concourse original example, but it is in excellent condition, there are a few little marks here and there (it is 28 years old) and one small dent (my fault as I dropped one of my tools against it, it would easily be repaired “paintless dent repair” but as I wasn’t making a mint show winner, it was fine, my intention was a fast road/ track car so it probably would get a few more scatches anyway when racing.
I was going down the route of full roll cage and race seats, but the offer of the 22b seats came along and that slightly changed my plans, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass.
Unfortunately now, as happens, life changes get in the way so my attention has stopped on the car, other non vehicle projects are on the horizon so rather than let her sit unloved until I get the time to use her, I think it is best that someone else takes care of her.
I have the full Japanese history, no accidents or damage.
do not ask if it's still for sale, I will not respond
