The Ascent 260 also impresses with its visually and tactilely flawless surface; all edges and the diaphragm mounts are meticulously crafted. With a nominal power handling of 100 watts and a peak power handling of 150 watts, it can handle a considerable amount of power and is ideal as a surround speaker for larger systems in more extensive listening rooms. Its exceptionally temperature-stable woofer voice coil gives it a particularly high power handling capacity. A second tweeter on the rear panel for bipolar sound distribution further enhances the impression of spaciousness, which is particularly advantageous for surround sound. Suitable for amplifiers from 4 to 8 ohms, this transducer is also ideal as a front speaker for smaller systems in listening rooms up to approximately 30 square meters.
