This is a W reverse cassette deck equipped with two mechanisms for recording and playback and playback only.

The mechanism uses a high-speed reverse mechanism A. R. H. S. rotary head mechanism with an optical sensor.
It is a 2-motor configuration with dedicated motors for the reel and capstan.

A custom-made capacitor is used in the amplifier section.

In addition to Dolby B/C, it is equipped with Dolby HX Pro which improves the recording ability of the tape.

It is equipped with functions such as sync reverse function which can align the head of the B side even when dubbing tapes of different lengths, blank scan which automatically fast-forwards the blank portion of the tape to the next song, dubbing start which can be started with one touch, high-speed dubbing which greatly reduces the tape copy time, and long-time playback by continuous reverse playback mechanism of I-Mech → II-Mech → I-Mech.
