Antiek authentieke albumen fotografie, jaren '30, interbellum
Gestempeld door de fotograaf:
Paul Werner Auguste, ° 19.3.1867; + 20.10.1949. Stationer, photographer and print dealer at this address where he traded as Becker - Holemans, having married Anne Thérèse Holemans on 29.4.1893. He had previously lived in Antwerp where he was recorded as a clerk arriving from Detmold [D] on 1.5.1889.
Domiciled at this address from 23.8.1897 to 9.4.1898 when he left for Brussels - Ixelles.
During the interwar period, he specialised in architectural photography and reproductions of works of art. The Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA), Brussels acquired Becker's collection of 35,000 negatives in 1943.
