Zeldzame hexagonale Yixing zisha theepot uit de Qing-dynastie (1644–1911), uit de 19e eeuw, gemaakt van paarse klei met reliëf van den, bamboe en pruimenbloesem en blauwe emaille, zeskarakterengraving op de onderkant, afmetingen H 9 cm × L 16 cm × B 8 cm, inhoud circa 250 ml, herkomst Privécollectie, China.

Rare Hexagonal Yixing Teapot with Pine, Bamboo and Plum Blossom DecorationChina, Qing dynasty, 19th centuryA finely crafted hexagonal Yixing zisha teapot, potted in rich purple clay and decorated in applied relief with the auspicious “Three Friends of Winter” motif: pine, bamboo, and plum blossom, symbols of perseverance, integrity, and renewal in Chinese literati culture. The teapot is of elegant hexagonal form with short neck, angled shoulder, and matching faceted foot. The spout is modelled as a bamboo joint, the handle as a flowering plum branch, while the cover is formed as intertwined pine branches, creating a harmonious naturalistic composition. The decoration on the teapot is highlighted with blue enamel decoration.
