Manufacturer's mark: Japy Frères (interlocking monogram with four stars, stamped on the enamel dial). This is a railway/naval-style 24-hour clock.
Small seconds subdial with fast/slow regulation index (F/A – S/R, English and French)
Solid brass, hinged case
Original wooden case with carrying handle and hook closure
