I’m selling my USA stamp collection of commemorative panels. The panels contain the unused stamps the USPS – United Postal Service issued between 1994 and 2000.

Panels are in four light brownish albums with a gold logo and the text “Commemorative Collections” in gold on the front.

I have decided to sell these because I quit collecting stamps in the year 2000 and nobody of my friends or family is into stamp collecting.

Photos of all panels in the collection are here, however, these photos don’t do them justice. They merely give you an idea of how beautiful they are. I quit stamp collecting because my orders were always held up by customs, and the amount of sales tax and import duties made collecting quite expensive. Some even were never delivered.

The drawings on the panels are engraved and the stamps are mounted neatly in place, never taken out.

As you will see from the long list, a few issues are missing. Not too many though. The one-sheet panels were US$4.95, the double-sheet panels $12.95.

Commemorative Panels have been issued by the US Postal Service since the Wildlife issue of 1972. Each 8-1/2 x 11-1/4-inch Panel is printed on card stock with engraved vignettes on issues prior to 2002 or with photo-engravings and artwork on issues starting with 2002.

Each Panel also includes subject-related text and a mint block of four stamps affixed to the Panel in a mount (although strips of stamps, larger blocks and even full sheets have been provided for certain issues, in some cases even requiring two panels). Commemorative Panels have been issued for every US commemorative stamp. They are available by subscription from the USPS.

A lot of money, patience, and frustration went into this collection, so please bid accordingly.

Note: The "Movie Monsters " issue has a special feature (a few others may have too), and a special "reader" is being sent to the winner of this auction. It's called a stamp decoder. The one you will receive has never been opened. Manual on how to use this decoder is included of course.

The following issues are packed in these four albums:
