Recent is er een blauwe 500SEL AMG, met vergelijkbare Km-stand, doch enkel met AMG stuur, rokjes en spoilers, verkocht voor 60.000,- Euro.

Slechts 1 uitvoering is nog meer uitzonderlijk en zeldzaam, de met
door AMG uitgeboorde 6 liter M117 V8 motor, en die worden niet onder de 100.000 Euro los gelaten...

Wat geschiedenis...

De 500SEL AMG heeft zijn eerste jaren in Duitsland gehad, waarna hij naar het zonnige Californie is verhuisd.
De originele AMG uitvoering was enkel voorzien van AMG spoilers en rokjes.

Sinds ettelijke jaren in mijn collectie in Belgie.
Van daar naar Polen, waar hij 2 jaar in restauratie is geweest.

Tijdens deze periode ben ik intensief op zoek gegaan naar originele AMG onderdelen om de  500SEL AMG op te waarderen.
In de beschrijving vind u het resultaat van mijn speurtocht en is het duidelijk welke onderdelen AMG en welke correcte repicas zijn.

De 500SEL AMG was korte tijd in Belgie ingeschreven, en sinds onze verhuis eind 2023 staat hij, en is hij ingeschreven in Spanje. 

Ondertussen ben ik 70 jaar en hebben mijn kinderen geen interesse in de collectie. Vandaar de beslissing om de collectie JVMBV8 van 14 stuks langzaam af te bouwen naar een controleerbare 6 oldtimers.

De 500SEL AMG staat in de stalling te Cuevas del Almanzora en het ik moedig een bezoek (op afspraak) van u of uw technieker aan, u kan er alleen maar enthousiaster van worden.
Testrit is mogelijk en er is een brug aanwezig om een grondige inspectie te doen.

Restored 500SEL AMG with rare AMG top-engine tuning.

Recently, a blue 500SEL AMG, with comparable mileage, but only with AMG steering wheel, skirts and spoilers, was sold for 60,000 Euro.
Only 1 version is even more exceptional and rare, the met 6 liter M117 V8 engine drilled out by AMG, and they are not released for less than 100,000 Euro...

Some history... The 500SEL AMG had its first years in Germany, after which it moved to sunny California. The original AMG version was only equipped with AMG spoilers and skirts.
In my collection in Belgium for several years.
From there to Poland, where it was under restoration for 2 years. During this period I intensively searched for original AMG parts to upgrade the 500SEL AMG. In the description you will find the result of my search and it is clear which parts are AMG and which are correct replicas.
The 500SEL AMG was registered in Belgium for a short time, and since our move at the end of 2023 it has been and has been registered in Spain.

I am now 70 years old and my children are not interested in the collection. Hence the decision to slowly reduce the JVMBV8 collection from 14 pieces to a controllable 6 vintage cars.
