De Ferrari Testarossa: wie kent deze legendarische icoon niet? Dit exemplaar bevindt zich in een fraaie en zeer goed onderhouden staat. Zo is recent (2021) bij een kilometerstand van 55.934 kilometer een grote servicebeurt uitgevoerd waarbij onder meer de distributieriem is vervangen en nieuwe banden zijn gemonteerd (totaalbedrag ruim € 9.000). Ook is de auto recent deels opnieuw gespoten, waardoor de prachtige diepzwarte effen kleur fantastisch tot zijn recht komt.
Dit exemplaar is nieuw geleverd op 1 oktober 1990 door Ferrari-dealer Pozzi Charles in Parijs, Frankrijk. De originele sticker van deze dealer is nog aanwezig op de achterruit. Het garantie- en onderhoudsboekje is nog aanwezig en volledig ingevuld. Daarnaast zijn ook tal van onderhoudsfacturen aanwezig. Andere officiële dealers die het boekje hebben afgestempeld zijn Cavallari in Monaco en Gauduel Sport in Lyon, waar de laatste eigenaar de auto heeft laten onderhouden vanaf 2006. Wij hebben de Ferrari kunnen bemachtigen van deze laatste eigenaar in Lyon. Wat opvalt is de fraaie uitvoering in zwart lakwerk en een zwart interieur. Onder de auto zijn originele 16-inch velgen te vinden met nieuw gemonteerde Michelin Pilot Sport banden. De Ferrari gereedschapset is nog aanwezig, net als het originele service- en instructieboekje en het lederen mapje. Ook aan het interieur en de motorruimte is te zien hoe zorgvuldig met de auto is omgegaan. Het interieur is schadevrij en de motorruimte is droog. Hij is voorzien van een alarmsysteem. De pasnaden van de auto sluiten mooi op elkaar aan.

De Testarossa is niet zomaar een auto: het is een cultureel icoon. Dit komt mede doordat een wit exemplaar prominent aanwezig was in het populaire tv-programma Miami Vice, waar hij een symbool werd van luxe, kracht en stijl. De Ferrari Testarossa is een legendarische sportauto die is geproduceerd tussen 1984 en 1996. De 4,9 liter V12 middenmotor met 391 pk zorgt voor - zeker in die tijd - indrukwekkende prestaties: een topsnelheid van 285 km/u en een acceleratiesnelheid van 5,8 seconden van 0 naar 100 km/u. Het unieke en spectaculaire design, met de kenmerkende klapkoplampen, brede en lage vormen en kenmerkende luchtroosters is afkomstig van Pininfarina. De rijeigenschappen met de handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak zijn in één woord fantastisch en explosief. Het woord Testarossa betekent 'rode kop', wat verwijst naar de rood gespoten motorafkapping. Dit woord is ontstaan in de racehistorie van Ferrari. De Ferrari Testarossa is niet alleen een sportauto, maar ook een GT. Omdat Ferrari wilde inzetten op de oudere doelgroep stond comfort hoog in het vaandel. The Ferrari Testarossa: who doesn't know this legendary icon? This example is in a beautiful and very well-maintained condition. Recently (2021), at a mileage of 55,934 kilometres, a major service was carried out in which the timing belt was replaced and new tyres fitted (total amount over € 9,000). The car was also recently partly repainted, which shows off its beautiful deep black solid colour to fantastic effect.
This example was delivered new on 1 October 1990 by Ferrari dealer Pozzi Charles in Paris, France. The original sticker from this dealer is still present on the rear window. The warranty and service booklet is still present and fully completed. Numerous maintenance invoices are also present. Other official dealers who have stamped the booklet are Cavallari in Monaco and Gauduel Sport in Lyon, where the last owner had the car serviced from 2006. We were able to acquire the Ferrari from this last owner in Lyon. What stands out is the beautiful finish in black paintwork and a black interior. Underneath the car are original 16-inch rims with newly fitted Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. The Ferrari tool kit is still present, as is the original service and instruction booklet and leather folder. The interior and engine compartment also show how carefully the car has been handled.
