Chique bookshelves in hoogglanslak met een volwaardig 3-weg systeem.
Deze KEF speakers maken gebruik van de beproefde "Uni-Q Technology", waarbij de tweeter in het centrum van de middentoner wordt geplaatst voor een betere spreiding en bijgevolg ook een grotere sweet spot.
De R300 is een subliem afgewerkte bookshelf speaker met een volle basweergave en een warm middengebied, met als gevolg een "laidback" geluidskarakter.

"The speakers reproduce Carter’s muscular acoustic bass without bloating, but with a tightness, depth and scale that is surprising given the small stature of the speaker. Drums appear dramatic, with a snapping snare that shows off the quick acceleration of the Uni-Q driver. Cymbals sound physically higher in the mix and have a textured shimmer with plenty of decay—this tweeter is indeed a honey. In the midst of all this, Frisell’s quirky guitar stays locked front and center, as occasional biting chords punctuate the mix. The R300 paints an engaging and natural portrait of this trio playing at the top of their game."
"Outstanding Speakers. I ordered these to use as my front left and right along with my new KEF R2c with LS50 surrounds. I thought I might regret not getting the towers but WOW are these good. Takes some serious break in time for them to really open up and lose the metallic sound. Now they are sweet, detailed and the bass is unbelievable. We had to double check to make sure our subwoofer wasn't plugged in!"
