Typical Danish craftsmanship. Very nice design for this teak coffee table with its organic shaped frame floating underneath is a magazine rack in woven rope in the Audoux Minet spirit.
Original label and brand stamp.
This is the larger version he made, he made also a 120 cm version.

Johannes Andersen is a Danish designer, his work is well-known among the design lovers, as his furniture are very representative of Scandinavian Style. He created unique tables, chairs and sofas, very sought after nowadays by experts and specialists
Born in 1903 in Denmark, Johannes Andersen was certified as cabinet maker in 1922. Few years later, he took advantage of the rise of Scandinavian style in Europe to open his own workshop. Successful from the beginning, he soon created his proper style, influenced by Danish currents and Scandinavian ethos. He worked for international brands and for his own until he ceased his activities in his eighties. He died in 1991, but his name is immortal, as he is known in the world as a very famous designer.
